I watched the BBC interview with Ben Shapiro, and it's not as bad as people suggested, but at the end yes he's totally crushed. Shapiro should go into every interview knowing they are going to bring up old Tweets. You can't get mad, you have to have comebacks. It's the game.

Going into an interview, expect them to attempt to define you as lowly as they can. Know every piece of oppo about yourself. Prepare to flip the questions. It takes a lot of mat time and practice. Yes, drill your answers hundreds of times. “Drillers are killers.”

There’s something in wrestling and grappling known as “mat time.” You can know fancy moves but your body doesn’t have the reflexes trained. Shapiro needs to rehearse a response to every question. Drill over and over and over and over until you’re bored and tired and frustrated.

You’ve never see me flustered in interviews. Frustration is for practice. Have people work you over. Insult you. Taunt you. Piss you off. You should feel rage and hopelessness when training. Then it’s go time and you’re a smiling gorilla.

I used to think because I could speak well that I would also be good in a debate. But then I spoke to police officers, and they basically ran my emotional barometer up and down like nothing.
It wasn't until years later I realized what they had done.

I did an improv scene where I played Conor McGregor. This is basically what I did.

He's very good at that technique. I think he was able to get under Khabib's skin at the press conference because of it. Khabib kept trying to explain himself, but Connor was playing a different kind of game.

I thought Shapiro handled this interview very well. Maybe cutting off at the end was a bit sour, but the interviewer did nothing to deserve the respect of finishing it.

Shapiro couldn't answer simple questions. Shapiro was pwned.

In full it was ok, I can see how he thought it was an bad faith interview. but cutting an interview short always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Milo Yiannopoulos is pretty good at it.

I think that's in part because his mantra is: "I say provocative things, so I will expect provocative things to be said to me." I suspect they desperately want him gone because his style rolls well with an easy, lazy fallback like bringing up old tweets.

Haha, that was great. I thought Shapiro showed his brilliance as always but the interviewer rightfully nailed Ben on coarsening the public discourse. When Trump does it, it's crass but when Ben does it, it's just spirited debate.

Yeah, this was not
@benshapiro best day. You have to know when you go on bbc they are coming after you if you’re conservative or don’t blindly follow far left narrative . (I.e.@jordanbpeterson who isn’t even conservative). Ben missed an opportunity.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
