They won't SAY they ban people based on race or religion, they'll SAY they banned them "for hatred and inciting violence" even if they ban because of race or religion. And not one person in power will do anything about it.

No, they have such market position that they are not just “private companies”. They should be regulated like digital age utilities.

I don't exactly know that it is illegal but it is hypocritical. It is also cowardly of social media sites to avoid admitting they don't like conservatives. They should just come out and say that they don't like us.

They can't use race, religion or gender. The question is whether they should be able to discriminate against political viewpoint.

Why do you bring the conversation to such a low level? What conservative worth his salt ever claimed that a private company “can do whatever it wants”? If facebook & co are not open platforms, then they must be held liable for their choices & cannot have monopolistic power.

It goes against Constitutional law. Inalienable rights differ from wearing a tux at a restaurant or you're not invited to the party. or shoes and shirts in an establishment for safety and hygiene.

I believe they have the right to run the company the way they want. It's no different then a Baker deciding what kind of cake he wants to decorate or not decorate, Facebook is exercising discrimination.

That's exactly the argument. They have to "bake the cake". It doesn't matter so much what the EULA says either, the reality is an existing business relationship resembling enuf employer-employee. It's fraud to accept contributors to their business without informing from the
