When government institutionalized segregation (Jim Crow Laws) this government validation of discrimination led to more discrimination by private business and the rest of the public.

Now government has swung too far in the other direction trying to repent for its previous egregious error by creating moral dictates on business. Government is wrong 100% of the time on this.

Government should not be able to discriminate. That is all that is needed, the consumer will take care of the rest. Markets, competition and innovation, not government regulation.
