Everyone is waiting to weaponize the Poway synagogue shooting, with one side hoping it’s Islamic terrorism and the other side hoping it’s white supremacy. It’s a sociopathic national pastime. Good people must reject both impulses and seek to bring society together.

Agreed. But as somebody who’s a local-poway has had hate crimes against Jewish people many times. So I’m guessing it’s white supremacy. But..don’t listen to a local.

Supposedly the shooter wasn't a fan of Trump because he was "controlled by Zionists." This is popular on both the alt-right AND the far-left. The left, however, shields most of their anti-Semitism by saying that they're just critiquing Israel's foreign policy.

Poway is a close knit community they will come together just like they did when Chelsea king went missing. Being from Poway I know that they will unite really fast to help victims and families. The rest of the country should learn from the strength of that beautiful city.
