This is “every now and then”. They’re not doing shots of jager, it’s a glass of champagne.

Resveratrol and cannabinoids are beneficial and abundant in red wine and cannabis respectively. Consuming both in reasonable quantities improves vitality and increases creativity. Other types of alcohol, tobacco and drugs have various health benefits but only in moderation.

They used to light up a cigar after a victory as well. As one would do in a celebration.

Offering champagne after they’ve won a game is hardly “celebrating alchohol culture”. I think you’re blowing that one out of proportion. Especially since they probably hadn’t drank leading up to it. It’s fine to celebrate a deserved win.

In all my years in Substance Abuse work and in Law Enforcement, beginning in 1989, I don’t recall a single instance of someone having a problem with, abusing, or even being arrested, due to excessive consumption of Champagne. Maybe it’s the cost or the low alcohol content. Idk.

What you put into your own body, shouldn't be anyone else's business, as long as they remain unaffected. Freedom means being free of other's control over your own personal property. I would like to see drug abuse treated in the same successful way as smoking. 50%->15% smokers
