Economy is booming but those gains aren’t reaching Millennials. 75% of demographic is under 40. I know their issues. Boomer conservatism is a death pact.

Which is why Republicanism/conservatism will FULLY DESERVE the tax increases that are coming down the pike, once those Baby Boomers pass away. Can't say we didn't warn them. Keep telling millennials to kick rocks when it comes to their student loans. They'll stay Dem for life.

Wealth has always concentrated to the 50+. Not just seniority or crony capitalism. Buffett, Boone Pickens etc note high% of their wealth made after age 70. Most high value NY & Cali real estate owned by older folks. Higher wealth, and higher wealth disparity as you get older.

Not saying you could never change it. But that would be radical change. Not sure what we’re seeing now is different than it’s ever been.

Tell them to put their money under a mattress for 15-20 years at which time they can scoop up the bargains when all the boomers have passed.

It will, but only when they inherit their parent’s wealth. Unsustainable immigration is putting pressure on supply & demand (housing, traffic, etc) causing the younger generations to be frustrated, bitter & revengeful. That’s why socialism is appealing to them.

Boomer facility with math, and Millennial mathphobia because of the stupid no child left behind and Chicago math program, and more is the real problem. The under forty crowd is largely qualitative thinkers, not quantitative.

It has nothing to do with math. Capitalism works when you’re conpeting with similar people. Outsourcing and immigration make it so Americans have to compete with people making $2.00 a day, yet houses still cost 350k. The middle class is dying

What opened the flood gates for H1b and outsourcing ? not enough americans capable of doing technical jobs. Why did corporations not remain loyal to the middle class workers they employed - not enough qualified ones. Why green new deal ? no math skills

There were plenty of qualified workers, they just didn’t want to pay a middle class wage. Why would anyone pay $40 an hour if they could pay $2? The “lack of workers” is a lie.

here have always been smart, capable workers. The “lack” has always been based on wages. Americans will pick fruit in fields but not for $5 an hour. You cant live on $5/hr The green new deal is 3-4 decades after we were sold out, its unrelated.
