My son is a current active duty Sargent USMC. You may not be aware of pre USMC training being done. My son went from 250 plus to 208 when he shipped out to PI. He told me after boot camp it was 90% mental and 10% physical.He saw several that were physical fit drop out from stress
On his last deployment he changed his protein to a beef based. I think it was Carnivore. Totally exploded his muscle mass and performance.

Today's young men and women are not really prepared for war. Between the ages of 25-35 young males are committing suicide at an alarming rate. They cannot even handle day to day life, let alone hand to hand combat. We have failed them by not spanking and not teaching hard lessons
