Agreed. People who “paid in full” will be mad, but not proposing something reasonable (discharge through bankruptcy to start) allows bad proposals like those by Warren to win, because she’s at least suggesting a solution, to a real problem.
Cerno was talking about student loan debt before anyone else, as usual it takes years for popular opinion to catch up. I can assure you that student loan debt reform is coming, fighting it (as loser conservatives fight against any change except bombing people).

Unless this comes with caps on admin pay, gross misuse of tax money by school, and prevent them from non-profit status if they have a growing endowment then it’s really just another way to fleece taxpayers to help rich do nothings get richer and do less (ie Elizabeth Warren)
