Boomer lenders and college administrators conned teenagers into taking out massive loans. Don’t give me any bullshit about “personal responsibility” when those who are supposed to help the youth exploited them. ay down the student loan debt from Harvard’s endowment!

If you make the perpetrators of the scam pay for it, I’m all for it. Once you make everyone else pay for it...you’ve lost me

Well said. Many acknowledge the student loan debt crisis but wrongly chalk it up to personal responsibility. We’re still talking about late teens who are being misled by adults in positions of authority, whom they are told have their best interest in mind.

I didnt go to college right out of highschool because I knew I couldnt afford it. If we keep as a society expecting less and less from teens and young adults we will keep getting less and less from them.

This "leave the system as it is never mind the suffering youth" attitude is reminiscent of the Wall Street bailouts. Universities must never ever eat any losses from the bad debt situation they enriched themselves amplifying? 🤡🌎

You also get hardcore pushed into it during high school. Your entire last year is devoted to funneling you into college or university.

Exploited? Where are the parents? Are they in on the scam? Kids who choose to take a loan are responsible for it. Some kids decide not to go, some do 1st 2 yrs at community college to ease cost, I don’t believe teens have no idea what they’re getting into.

We need to have schools co-sign on the loans students get, so if the student fails to get a job he or she was promised, the schools are responsible for paying off the student loans.

I don't know Mike's opinion but Obama helped create this clusterfrack when he took over student loans and suddenly the only ones with an answer for millennial misery are socialists. Makes me wonder if we've been set up

@AnnCoulter wrote a piece a few years ago about dragging college administrators before Congress in much the same way that tobacco companies were to explain vow their ever increasingly expensive "investment" was producing worse returns every year.

Student Loans are arguably the greatest headwind facing MULTIPLE generations simultaneously. It is unquestionably a drag on company formation, home ownership, muh GDP growth, etc. Rare is the child who knows at 18 the binding significance of the docs they are signing.

If a car salesman sold me a Maserati when all I needed was a Toyota, I wouldn’t ask the government to erase my debt and let me keep the Maserati. #PersonalResponsibility is something missing in today’s society. It’s all about being a victim now. You’re better than this @Cernovich

A lot of conservatives are naturally compassionate people and they allow that compassion to push them towards liberal ideas like free college and healthcare rather than sticking to conservative ideals like personal responsibility and hardwork.
