Exactly! When we had lots of bad mortgages, we made sure mortgage originators had skin-in-the-game. Same should hold true here.

Yep, and while I disagree with debt forgiveness... I agree completely on getting the gov. out of the college loan business. How about we just not give 19 year olds loans.... ever. Let's start there.

Student Loans largely go to finance worthless degrees that only the Progressive Professoriat & Affiliated Administrators profit from. Any conservative plan to fund a student debt bailout should involve clawing back those ill-gotten gains.

Yang’s UBI would be better received if tied to high school graduation and half had to go in TSP you couldn’t touch until 60. 50% stock and 50% G fund. We would self fund our debt while putting every American on a path to millionaire status by retirement.
