People think Sharia Courts would mean Islam laws being put above the law of the land especially in context of lives/crime, but the Israel gov recognizes those courts in context of money and personal issues such as who gets what after a divorce. (If both sides agree then why not?)
We have communities of Muslims that don’t exactly assimilate to Americans. Halal meat is a great example. PETA will have a huge problem with halal meat and how the animal is killed. Bottom line is that I don’t see how Muslims assimilate to be American. Those that have escaped....

You only need to see what is happening in UK and France. Hate speech laws are the start. Muslims immigrants or Refugees have cultural laws and laws to their Islamic Sect. Let’s face it they were settled here. We can all agree that the Mosque’s teachings matter.
