yeah, don't marry the amazing girl you happen to fall in love with when you're 25...great advice. I did and it has worked out great, even though I hadn't yet hit the supposed Cernovich peak in the 30's. Mike, gotta say worst advice ever.

Clearly you've got more success than Cerno and we'd be wiser to take your advice

retired early, run a family office managing our assets, play golf, volunteer, married for 33 years, two successful kids in NYC and Austin. Yeah thank you.

Any rando on the internet can claim anything about their life. Cernovich puts it out there, inviting flak. When he offers counterintuitive or non-traditional advice, responses that basically just go "hey the mainstream way is good too" don't add anything to the convo. Useless
-
in this day and age, the "hot take" is rarely correct. find the love of your life and marry her, regardless of age. It's the most important decision/choice you will ever make. period, and should be a full time job in your 20's. imo.

Hands down the worst advice you've ever given. Can't win them all though.

From what I have seen almost all the good ones are taken long before then.

A wise man once told me for a man life begins at age 49 everything up to that point is building your ultimate self. Long view.

This doesn’t mean don’t commit to a life partner (in the Dark Ages, we called it getting married) until your 30s. You can do what we did: work together for years building a great life, have kids in late 20s & early 30s (so you’re not so old you forget where you put ‘em).

I agree. I got married and turned 25 two days later. For me I was ready to settle down. My motto was live life , taste death for many years. Now in my 50’s I wish I would have taken better care of my body.

I'm currently dealing with the fact that dating gets much worse in your 30s. At least every other woman has a kid or a few, they're mostly all fat, divorced, infertile, have seen it all and hate men, etc. From my age of 34, it seems that settling down at 29 would've been smart.
