Time for these police officers to bring out the “less lethal” rubber bullets and smoke these loony toons!! These idiots could seriously injure people with their shenanigans!! Police need to step their game up in these situations and allow free speech on campus! #stepyourgameup

Step up their game? Really. That cop was on top of that situation with the quickness
-
Yes..I agree that cop was on top of that idiot, but after he fired his load of whatever it was. When instigators start being disorderly they need to be removed immediately. If they go outside and form a crowd of masked instigators, police need to use disbursement tactics ASAP!!
-
While I appreciate your support for law enforcement, sadly, that’s not how it works. There is no cop anywhere who wants to get detailed to these political events, bc they know it’s going to be a headache no matter what you do. Props to this cop who did what he needed to so quick
-
So, we live in a land of laws, correct? People have the right to peacefully protest against something they dislike nor agree with. However, they do not have a right to disturb the peace with a mob like mentality. The city has a police force for this reason.
#rubberbullets work! -
It may be a harsh way of doing things, but as you saw in Charlottesville a young lady’s life was lost, due to a bunch of idiots pounding their chests!! Riot control was needed and should be properly implemented in a case by case basis. Just my opinion.
-
You don't know how to handle riots then if that's your thought. I've had training, what you are saying police should have done is completely against any protocol, it would only incite even more rioting and fan flames. The police did the right thing.
-
Sure you do..........Times are changing buddy. We should definitely continue to let these Antifa freaks and white supremist groups just tear apart other peoples businesses, tax payers property and kill each other in the process and just sit back and watch it all burn down??

I hope you're not implying it would've been deadly if you'd been there. This is not a contest to see who can be more violent, right and wrong still exist. Posting this doesn't make anyone look good.

Do you not think law enforcement did a good enough job? He was subdued immediately. Would you have acted even quicker (literally impossible, not to mention reckless given the amount of people in the room) or just shot him while he was on the ground already?

The situation you implied? You said if you had been there. I'm well aware of the second amendment, and an avid defender of it. Using a gun in this situation is not responsible. I'm literally only talking about this situation, what just happened.

Fortunately it wasn't a real gun. Unfortunately some day it will be.
-
No it won't. These people believe that only the government should have the guns. And since they practice what they preach they will not be armed.
-
Somebody else will be and they probably won’t take the time to read nerf on the side of their toy gun.
