The conversation needs to happen now. Technology advances faster than ever and if we blink on this, it may be too late to mitigate the consequences. This is something that should have happened with social media.

Very soon, AI will be making all your healthcare decisions. And people will hate it because they fear corruption and love superstition. They aren't necessarily wrong.

While I don't agree with most of Andrew Yang's positions, he is probably the smartest guy that the dems have running, and can intellectually defend his ideas, that being said, he also has no chance.

Discussions over automation & UBI in recent years has been a bright spot in global political landscape. However, I think that a genuine UBI (as opposed to just a USI--Universal Supplemental Income) for long-term use is NOT affordable yet. USA needs to be 3x to 7x more wealthy.

UBI and universal health care with tightly restricted immigration? Or Semi- open borders (status quo) and UBI/healthcare for all is not open for consideration?

Why is this a bad thing? Doctors will have to spend less time diagnosing patients and will have exponentially more time to treat patients, therefore increasing quality and access of healthcare. Time for treatment will be less scarce increasing affordability.

Our education system need to focus on career preparedness rather than random political issues
