It doesn't look like she did anything wrong. I assume the lying charge is to keep her in custody while they go through the electronic devices to see if she had anything nefarious going on. If it comes out clean, she'll probably be released, but I think the electronics hold a key.

I can only imagine what would happen to me if I talked my way through two layers of security at the hotel used by the Chinese President, and was caught by the Chinese MSS with stacks of cash, malware and TSCM gear.
