I don’t see how any person of sound reason and charitable heart can see the rise of this young lady as anything but a modern Greek Tragedy. I must presume good intentions, but she’s woefully under-equipped to be a politician, let alone a member of congress.

And they aren't very good scripts... and she's not a very good actor.... it's tragic and sad to see someone be made a fool by people to churlish and flaccid to walk into the light on their own.

The code switching is even worse. She is saying that she was trying to relate to ‘those people’, because this is how ‘those people talk’. Cringe level: absurd.

"Code switching" is a real thing that most people do to an extent - think of how you would speak to a person differently in an interview than you would when you're having drinks with friends. This,, however was just mimicry verging on mockery.

Code switching is definitely a real thing. But a woman from Westchester, claiming to be from the Bronx, giving a speech in Manhattan, does not start speaking like some racist Aunt Jemima caricature just because she is in a room of black folks.

Alexandria Cortez is a joke. Those who live in reality see her as the Democrat Joker. She is not fooling any of the intellectual crowds, especially not the GOPs. God Bless President Trump.
