I haven’t tried that, but when I lived in Ecuador my family used instant coffee frequently. Daddy didn’t as much he had his little percolator he brought from Italy.

My wife is from Ecuador, her friend that comes to visit brings instant coffee every time she visits. I tried it, it’s nothing special.

I grew up on instant coffee I still keep a jar because sometimes the power goes out and you can still boil water on a gas stove. I find it is more flavorful and why wouldn't it be? You could blind taste it and it would win over brewed every time
