That's how it is here in PA, now Ohio get to watch their Gas tax dollars go somewhere else.

Local city reps held the gas tax hostage on this latest ballot. I spoke with a city councilman and he told me point blank that the road upgrade plans will never get started unless we continue the gas tax, plans that would dramatically decrease my commute.

If the implication is that an upstanding, law abiding state like California, is mismanaging funds or improperly using them...then I’m here to say, “Well, duh...of course.”

Dont even get me started. California is a cesspool on the best of days now. I pay and pay for what. Road repiars that never end and cause massive delays. Bridges that hike the tolls with massuve back ups. Tax, tax, tax is all the lefties know.

Taxes are about control. The money rarely, if ever, goes to what they claim it's for. Our roads and infrastructure are going third world!
