Back in the old days, the police let some intoxicated drivers go if they thought they could make it home. But that was around 40 years ago.
Y'all are gullible if you believe people are walking on DUIs, those are taken seriously, major lawsuit risk if police lets a drunk person go.
Ask some real LEO like @johncardillo how many police would let someone drive away on a DUI.
