I think you’ve given the answer in another context, “conservative” is a label that defines an identity. What creative person wants to “conservative”? Even older artists seek to transgress or progress.

They are better at organizing and sticking to a script online. They also have the advantage of being free to say what they want without fear of censorship. They are terrible at memes because they lack imagination and can't think outside the script.

The left is better at social media except youtube. The biggest reason is that it's easy to create outrage via small posts like tweets, but it's harder via 10 min+ videos where content and entertainment are required.

Videos are also better to explain/demonstrate, which the right does better.
