This could be wrong, but I’ve read that smart actually promotes kids not to take on academic challenges in fear of looking not smart. Hardworking > smart. Have you had any experience with this? I believe the book was talent code or outliers

I have a 2 yr old & I always feel the same. But I also think it’s important to let them cry sometime as long as it’s not used for leverage. At my daughters age they have so many feelings and emotions they have not yet learned to communicate well. But certainly, no cry babies

question a lot because when Cyra cries, I always have her go, “I’m strong.” I give her little challenges to do.
