This Jeffrey Epstein lawsuit is really odd and getting weirder every day, so I'm going to go into the weeds for a minute. This will either be interesting or tedious, but mostly should be interesting! Anyhow, the Epstein case shouldn't have ever been sealed. I sued on behalf of Cerno Media to get the records. It was supposed to be a simple case involving access to public records. Every lawyer is laughing at me right now. "No such thing as an easy case."

I filed what's call a motion to intervene and unseal, and the judge denied it. We appealed. And then something big happened. The Miami Herald filed their own lawsuit, seeking to access the records.https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/article220097825.html …

The Miami Herald sued for the Epstein records. The federal judge ruled against them. The Miami Herald appealed, and their appeal was consolidated (combined for efficiency) with my appeal.https://www.miamiherald.com/news/politics-government/article227184299.html …

In the Epstein lawsuit, the plaintiff-victim wants the records unsealed. I want them unsealed. The Miami Herald wants them unsealed. Simple, right? Nothing about this case makes sense. Today a "John Doe" asked them to be unsealed. And....this is interesting...

At the 11th hour, a John Doe filed an amicus brief asking the court to keep the records in the Epstein case sealed. Ask any lawyer - this filing is unusual and inappropriate. It gets more interesting.... The lawyer who filed the brief? He worked for Mueller and Comey. WTFpic.twitter.com/hThum3uvUZ

What's weird is that Alan Dershowitz negotiated Epstein's sweetheart plea agreement despite being a potential witness.
