i find it hard to believe in the age of people tearing down statues of men who did ill deeds in the past somehow john mccain is allowed to escape scrutiny

Unfortunately, McCain's family just can let it be. The dossier, the Trump bashing at his funeral, and now a twitter war with his daughter. Most people have no clue about this, but for those of us who remember, it's one of the reasons why McCain does not sit on a golden throne.

The Phoenix New Times was half a rag newszine and half some of the most brilliant reporting of Arizona politics. They tended to attack Republicans, primarily, but most of those articles were well researched and therefore impossible to ignore.

Wow Trump is so much worse than this that it's hard to take anything anyone did that's remotely out of line for a Presidential candidate seriously. I mean c'mon...

All if this remained hidden from the gen pop. Not many people frighten me but he did. He was truly an evil man.
