My wife and I came up with a solution for that. I have a box where she puts my stuff so after she moves everything all my stuff is in the box

We do this. But then instead of looking in the box, he replaces the item. Now I have a small stack of boxes in my laundry room :/

I continuously accuse my wife of this in my head. 95% of the time, I misplaced it myself.

That's like my wife putting every drinking glass that I left on the table and wanted to use a second or third time in the dishwasher. Lol.

I'm on your wife's team. If the glass has been used, wash it. Don't leave it on the table, bookshelf, nightstand, behind the sofa, etc.

Nah, maybe after a while.. but not seconds after I emptied it the first time. Also.. the dishwasher fills up too quickly that way. Which is not very energy efficient.
. But, I get your (and my wife's) point. And we compromise every now and then .
