If there was even *ONE* socially ritualized REQUIREMENT you must follow up on after RTing the suicide hotline, something to encourage prevention, either: a) No one would RT it, or b) The suicide rate would go down, down, way down.

Most people are actively harming others, but feel "entitled" to do so, since they do so via their "votes" (from a distance, with no likelihood of being held accountable, in a darkened voting booth). Reposting the suicide hotline is one of their less harmful alternative actions.

I donated 200 dollars to suicide prevention this month. Im proud to say. I've been attempting to channel all the money i spend on youtubers and patreons, and cell phone games, to productive causes. It feels a lot better.

He didn’t commit suicide. It was a murder.

Fake caring just like their fake outrage.

The suicide numbers are even higher if you count those who kill themselves through food, drugs, lack of exercise, and illicit sex.
