Chineese tourists also get too close to other people - they have no concept of personal space.
-
Or any situational awareness in general.

That's why, as an Australian, if I get drunk and pissed and annoy an American, I loudly proclaim that I'm a New Zealander. You can't tell the difference anyway. I recommend Americans respond in kind by saying they're Canadian.

Europeans are used to servers being paid a regular wage. Weird, I know.

:D true... Though you can ALWAYS spot US tourists a mile a way. As one American put it, "Because they're dressed like toddlers" :D (true - big baggy shirt, shorts, bumbag... Usually a USA flag...)
-
LOL - I gotta say, that is true. If you’re in a tourist area anywhere in the world and there’s a middle aged white guy with a bumbag, you can safely bet he’s an American.

Every accent is foul at 3am unless it’s whispered in your ear.

There are rude & lovely tourists from every country I worked for 8 years at Sydney International Airport dealing with international tourists & in my experience majority of American tourists were the loudest at the same time they were lovely. Good & bad with all countries

Same in Spain, they hate the Brits but as soon as they figure out you’re American or Canadian you’re all good. I had a guy ignore me asking for directions until he heard my accent, then....oh an American!!!

Yeah, nobody likes the British tourism in Spain, either. I am pretty sure Spain doesn't even care about American tourism, actually. Like yeah, there is, but they don't bother anybody, just a bit loud sometimes

I am Australian and cannot really argue with this take. But I have been to a museum overseas, which I got drunk at and pissed on.
