I got a 2.9 GPA in high school. Refused to do homework in high school, it was oppressive and unfair as I would get A's on tests. High school = kid prison where dreams go to die. 2 years community college to transfer over. Community college = underrated.https://twitter.com/yashar/status/1106250867831791616 …

Did you go to a community college? Quote tweet this and say which community college you attended and what you're doing today. I'll retweet as many as I can. People who attend community colleges deserve to be as proud as people who attend Harvard. https://twitter.com/yashar/status/1106249794383564801 …

That is oddly similar to my high school experience. I also hated homework and maintained a C average propped up by Acing tests. I hated it so much I never went to college. Things have turned out great for me so far😀

Actually I like “expectance” My mom and Grandparents “expected” me to go. I didn’t “accept” that. So I formed my own path to success. And bought mom a house by 2002. 😉

I failed basically everything. Dropped out of college. By the time my classmates graduated, I already pulled in $1 Million in revenue with my businesses.

I completely failed at school and wasn't that interested. Teachers would often say I wouldn't amount to very much and were not that encouraging. Left school, started at the bottom as an apprentice engineering technician and slowly worked my way up to a high managerial position.

Community colleges are becoming the new starting place for undergrad degrees from kids that actually can think. Every kid I know that has planned to do 2 years at CC then transfer to University is super successful now. It is a great system for success.

B student in HS. Procrastinator and skipped a lot. Got my associates degree in nursing school at a community college - on the deans list, despite having three small children. RN for 22 years, certified in inpatient obstetrics. Very small percentage of OB RN’s are certified.

4.0 as a freshman I. HS but barely passed as a senior. Lucky to get into a university where I almost failed out (1.7 freshman year). Drank the koolaid and graduated with over a 3.0. True success came in my early 30s when I went cold turkey and saw things as they were again.
