Which seasons? Homeland s.1 is a hard one to compete with and I love Billions.

They ruined Homeland. Billions is still going strong.

Always can get into watching Capt Winters in “Band of Brothers” or Vorenus/Pullo in “Rome”

Both are great, but I think I would go with Homeland if forced to choose. Brody's story arc was awesome and ended perfectly in the earlier seasons, and they've carried on great without his character. But Billions has some great characters, as well, so my opinion could change.

Damian Lewis character Nick Brody was more of a ‘supporting’ one to main character, Carrie Mathison, in Homeland. Brody wasn’t long-term (31 episodes; 3-4 seasons). Damien Lewis’ Bobby Axelrod character in Billions is the *main* one (36 episodes & counting).
-
Also, the interaction between Lewis & Giamatti is awesome. Maggie Siff’s character (Wendy Rhoades) is fantastic, too. David Costabile “Wags” who is Axelrod’s right-hand man is incredible. It’s funnier than Homeland. Less gloom & doom.
-
Oh, don’t get me wrong. I really like Billions, too. I may end up liking it more in the long run. Homeland is a little more geared towards my personal preferences, though.
