Without social norms in the US it would be much, much worse. There's a lot of social pressure to be monogamous or pseudo-monogamous esp. if you're on a traditional career path. Only thing saving most people from celibacy.

You don’t have to be alpha to be in the top 20%. In America at least the bar is so fckn low all you have to do is stay in shape, have basic hygiene, and be able to hold a conversation. That takes you out of the bottom 80%. Tinder brought me multi-year monogamous relationships.

So true! Women would rather "share" a guy at the top, than to go for different guys in the middle or bottom. At some point the guys that are not at the top will revolt. Look at MGTOW. It's gonna be a societal bloodbath.
