During Inauguration
@jeffgiesea and I threw the Depolorball, the biggest even of the week in fact. Jeff taught me how to plan events, a fan of@ScottAdamsSays even told me the next day, "You added event planning to your talent stack."https://www.washingtonpost.com/videopolitics/trump-protesters-supporters-clash-on-eve-of-inauguration/2017/01/19/93ba0d8c-deb0-11e6-8902-610fe486791c_video.html …2 replies 4 retweets 28 likesShow this thread -
In terms of "political events," there are either rallies, or stuffy big-money donor circle jerks. This is true of the "left" and "right." There aren't any events that combine a party vibe with quality speakers and panels. Thus A Night for Freedom. Our first event in NY was...

Our first A Night for Freedom in New York was a spectacle, but we finally got into a place after I showed up with $30,000 cash. The event popped off.https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2018/01/far-right-party-mike-cernovich …

A Night for Freedom taught me a lot about the media. For example, Chelsea Manning showed up, and it was a huge story. Buzzfeed attended the event. But a Jewish Trump supporter was almost murdered while walking home. Nothing from Buzzfeed about this!https://nypost.com/2018/01/21/protester-charged-in-trump-supporter-attack-tried-to-put-cop-in-headlock/ …

When Chelsea Manning shook my hand, Buzzfeed covered it. But violence against a Trump supporter? Silence from the national press that covered my event, including The Guardian and Huffington Post. Journalists really do want to see people who voted for Trump get hurt.

We held one of our best events in D.C. this past weekend. People kept telling me leading up to the event, and after the event, that they didn't know it was happening. A consequence of shadow banning. Bookmark this page for updates!https://anightforfreedom.com/

Finally, if you want to hold your own events (and you should), read this guide. Everyone knows we throw the best events, but we made some mistakes.
