I don’t get why Congress doesn’t update immigration laws to address these issues related to illegal immigration.

Was saying the same to someone just yesterday. The National emergency schtick would have being more believable if he declared it on day one as POTUS. That would have signified to everyone what his priorities were. Unfortunately, not everyone wants to acknowledge the truth....

You can't negotiate with radicals and people who hate you. It wasn't a normal political situation and it was completely different from the business world . And obviously Trump brags, or a negotiating tactic idk.

I think Trump just underestimated the level of hatred that would be aimed at him by Democrats and RINOs. Their steadfast refusal to negotiate with him at all has left him unable to accomplish some of his agenda. That doesn't mean he hasn't tried.

Remember he promised this would be the greatest legacy of his leadership compared to all the other ineffective POTUS' before him

The first omnibus bill he had the Dems by the balls. The donors pressure chuck to shut up about DACA and get that money through for the MIC.

Too bad that the wall is being built and Trump got the money for it from congress before the Dems took over.

Trump is doing fine. Nobody else could withstand the daily onslaught and still be this productive. I'm impressed and admit I never thought he could achieve so much in so little time.

Objectively, he has had more vitriolic opposition than anyone I can remember. All the Dems and Half the Republicans. If people were negotiating in good faith, he’d have had no problem. Before him, the Dems would have jumped at DACA amnesty. TDS is real.
