The best part? Noone knows how this is going to go. Askren is obviously a great wrestler, but he has never fought an elite fighter in their prime. Lawler is past his prime, but he could end this fight in a single punch.

Lawler just got over knee surgery as well. Askren seemingly doesn't miss a chance to grow and learn in the gym. I think it's great timing for Ben.

Pfft. He's struggled against third tier opponents in a third tier MMA organization. I would have liked to see Askren in the UFC long ago, but he wasted much of his career.

I like the guy, he has a way of coming across as confident and humble at the same time. Wrestlers sometimes bore me in UFC but I am starting to get more into wrestlers and ju jitsu style fighters.
