I re-read the Lucifer Principle. Howard Bloom’s books need to be read 2-3 times. Read Sapiens and Lucifer Principle to understand what a mess the world will be in if western civilization falls.

Perhaps there's a lot to live up to in crediting the "laws" of human nature. I don't see his charm. I don't openly quote these laws. I didn't see myself visualizing the chapters. I wasn't pulled in, you know? 48 was a masterpiece.

That's self-evident though especially when it can lead to resentment. The alternative is that our underlying theme of why we envy a specific individual could perhaps otherwise motivate us.
