I remember as a kid being terrified of the hole in the ozone, and acid rain. Environmentalist have done their cause harm with extremism as do all groups that peddle their dogma seasoned with extremism. People become jaded emotionally when manipulated, & become skeptics naturally.

Nobody said, including the children, the world will end in 12 years. The alarm is that we have 12 years to try and reverse the effects of climate change before we reach the tipping point. The fact that you tell your kids that climate change isn't real is child abuse.

It's weather and we believe in a sovereign God. The models that are used for so-called climate change have been debunked and it would be easier to take it more seriously if the answer that these politicians have is just taking more money. The GND would rape the globe not help

1/ If the president came out tomorrow and said climate change is real you'd believe him. I know this to be true cuz you've never refuted or condemned a single one of his lies or actions

James Hansen, once NASA's lead climate scientist, said in 1989 Lower Manhattan would be under water by now if CO2 emissions continued to rise. How'd that age. Now 30 years later idiot's making the same predictions.

It is sad people mistrust science and then use it to downplay real threats. Modeling was at its early stages, and he knew he was making a bold prediction, rather than fall short. We are talking about small movements in data have impacts that can literally flood a coastline.

All current modelling sucks and will for a long time to come. Because of compute power, most can't define atmospheric regions smaller than 100 cubic km. The "best" model, INMCM4, basically ends up showing changes with no net CO2 and even it's still over-predicting warming.

Growing up as a evangical conservative, I heard this a lot. Plus fire and hell on earth soon too. And people smile and say it’s a good thing.
