Nope. If we insist on income taxation, then make it a pure flat tax with no bracketing whatsoever, no exemptions and no deductions of any kind. No loopholes, no shenanigans. (A lot of lawyers and CPAs would go searching for work, but tough sh*t.)

This is simple to fix but congress will never make their masters pay. Put a individual or family rate of 12% on all revenue over 40k, no write offs. Put a corporate tax rate of 7% on all revenue over $1M, no tax breaks, write offs or paperwork. Notice I did not say profit.

Corporations pay taxable wages to employees including social security. Apple pays suppliers which pays their employees taxable wages. You see how that works? Maybe you should study business 101.
