36 hour fast to start with, then a 20 hour fast with 4 hour eating window. You learn a lot about yourself during fasts.

Food and drink also mask emotions. This is why people who fast often talk about (depending on person) feeling acute emotions like - Sadness - Anger - Joy There's nothing woo-woo about those feelings. Food is literally a drug, and when you fast, there's RAW FEELING left.

Keeping my carbs at 50 grams or so. I don’t like being in ketosis. Keto was big back when Dan Duchaine was around. Too many side effects for me, but others love it. That is beautifully worded. Fasts are a great time to pray too, not to talk to God but to listen. I uncomplicate and remove people from my life if they are not adding any value to it. It’s not mean, it’s just real.
