God's forgiveness is not a foregone conclusion for everyone. Rather few receive it and many reject it. They reject it cause it grates against their ego that they even need 2 B forgiven. "and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil" John 3:19

True. But God has to be your father in order for this to be true, and as Jesus says "You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires." John 8:44... So not all are children of God and therefore not all are forgiven by God
