The good far outweighs the bad, unlike other substances. However, not a single chemical in this planet is good for everyone, some will experience bad and even dangerous side effects.

Science is no excuse for tyranny. Ask the Indian farmer families and the Holocaust survivors.

This report is hogwash, from an empirical standpoint, looking at real world examples.. inhaling smoke is unhealthy but marijuana will not lead to psychosis in the vast majority of users.

Watch @joerogan's recent debate on the topic. Like most everything, the truth is somewhere in the middle.

For me, after trying it for a year, there was an increase in depression the higher the THC went. I gave it up because I want to be able to function even if I have to deal with PTSD without medication.

There isn't one counter argument presented in this letter that deals with the data regarding the link between violence/mental illness & pot that @alexberenson presented the book. Just the waive of the hand dismissal "he misuses science and it's also complicated" NOT AN ARGUMENT

i'm anti from my own personal experience... moved back to parent's house after college, no more smoking.. 3 months later i felt my head clear, coming out of the clouds, like waking up.. and that's with no drugs or alcohol the entire time.

I would very much like to know whether his weed research is valid or not, as well. The one political position I haven't really made up my mind is drug legalization and the War on Drugs. Was leaning toward legalization until Berenson's report came out.
