ja, its always good when one cannot easily tell which "side" a reporter is on, a true journalist detector.. ps. by now, theres got to be some algorithm for analyzing reporter's historical copy to indicate partisan hack quality, is there?

I agree. I live in Chicago and both Rafer & Rob are top notch. Rafer’s father (Tim) was also a top notch Chicago journalist.

Local news is always better. They're hungrier.

Not a model of what it CAN be, but what it SHOULD be. The local Chicago reporters covering this story have been phenomenal in their reporting. Everyone should juxtapose their quality & responsible journalism with the hell hole of identity politics driven journalism from MSM.

Clearly cpd played their hand well given the brothers were out of country. They’ve known it’s hoax all along. Yet fake news ABC and fake “journalist” @RobinRoberts still ran with the story bc it confirmed something they so desperately wanted to be true.

Even in this incident, big money outlets headlines were ftom the left - “victim of hate crime” was established even before a single fact cane out.

Sadly, as non-partisan reporters with talent are either passed over or achieve positions of greater influence based upon their talents, the pressure to align their values with company values increases. Many opt to pay a price for success.
