And the rules-based order implemented after WWII was only possible due to a strong American military. One of those rules was to reduce the military expenditure. America agreed to take care of that since they weren't obliterated like the rest of the world.

America did it because concentrating the power was a way of reducing the need for armed conflict that leads to World Wars. But Soviets said "Nyet!" and formed their own club. But two poles creates less conflict than a multipolar world, hence Cold War instead of World War 3.

3 or more poles is unstable (a millennia of intra-European warfare proves that), because 2 can tag team on one. 2 poles is also unstable, compared to 1, but yes less unstable than a free for all.

And right now, Russia and China are standing up to America on two fronts. Military and economic. No other country possesses both the military and economic acumen that America has.

Russia is top tier at military, but lacks economic power (lol, New York alone produces more than Russia). China's economic power is unrivaled right now and they had America by the balls until Trump arrived.

Just wait until the autism rate is 1 in 5. Looks at the trajectory: it's an epidemic of national security proportions and we're still at "acceptance".
