As someone who has had to attend hearings on the Hill and has hired line-standers, I did not go out on the streets and hire homeless people. There are companies who hire college kids for this and I used those companies. Does anybody think this thru?

Adulting. The act of gaining experience and knowledge by living another day. Imagine if she had a real job before- what stuff she would learn - like property tax bills, and why is she only keeping 65% of her wages, and what an HR department is, etc. A whole world out there AOC

Just make sure they are paid a living wage with full benefits.
