Have you seen crowd size photos from each rally? All of the photos that I've seen from the O'Rourke rally are limited in view. In this day and age, you'd think an enterprising media outlet would have sent up a couple of drones.
Yes very suspect. I see clear photos from Trump's side with huge crowds.
Beto's photos i see none with big crowd
in comparison. Just fakes news media telling us don't believe pictures anymore
Crowd size is a stupid metric. Thousands of local people like Trump, thousands like Beto. Either way, the turnout represents a tiny portion of voters. It's as valuable as an online poll.
That's true but I suppose crowd size could be an indicator of how strongly people feel allegiance.
As in, if they make the effort to go out and join in, that's stronger support in a way.
Maybe... I'm not sure. Not even sure if that measure is useful. Thinking out loud really
There is some value in it if you want to gauge support in a highly localized way, but definitely not overall popularity. Trump regularly got crowds many times the size of Hillary's but she still got more votes. In that case, it probably had to do with charisma and base loyalty.
That makes sense. Like licking your finger and sticking it up in the air, compared with using a meteorology station. Definitely right about charisma. Haha
Last night reading Twitter re the rallies was like listening to my 6 yr old desperately guess a math fact. "42! No, 36! I mean 54?"
Holy moly!
Saw the pictures. Beto had no more than a 1k people there. Very low energy.
