I don't get your logic. The vast majority of the people who support socialism don't love the poor. They hate the rich. There is a difference. Taking away all the perks of being successful from the rich, won't stop the poor craving those things.

Rich people would adapt well to socialism. It is the poor that won't. Rich people tend to live frugally. I remember reading a book based on interviews with hundreds of millionaires. They were asked what they enjoy doing and nearly all said things you don't need money to enjoy.

I voted for Ross Perot he would have been a much better POTUS than either Bush or Clinton
