Please pardon my jumping into the conversation in response to your tweet. While neither Dem nor GOP I have a much better idea: a "Free-Market Deal." Here it is: Gov protects its citizens from force & fraud but otherwise leaves people free to buy/sell/trade however they see fit.

Yes, and that is my counter to Mike: the GOP not only has a plan, they have implemented it. Namely, robust cuts in taxes and regulations. And the plan is working.

What a foolish statement. Yes. The GOP needs a good, clear and persuasive message. NO! A utopian idea is NOT better than no idea at all. Utopian ideas such as those underlying Soviet or Maoist societies led to the death, torture & “re-education” of millions.

The better idea is the path we are on w/ minor tweaks. This is ridiculous. Just because some lefty offers a huge big gov fix doesn't mean the right needs it's own big gov fix to compete. It's like being sold a new expensive car when you don't need that new or expensive a car.
