Watching people white knight for billionaires is more amusing to me than it should be.

Yea lol I guess so, limit the top YouTuber to only getting so popular too also my YT channel doesn’t get a lot of views so I want to force popular channels to give me their viewers and those viewers must watch me :) Am I doing this right?

I'd rather not stand up for billionaires. However, if the government can take what they want from the richest, most powerful citizens, then it can take what little I have as well. The government takes more than enough from everybody.

President Reagan had a 50 percent tax rate for the very wealthy. Nothing wrong with that!!

The government already takes too much from all of us. If we'd stop sending foreign aid and trying to be the world's police, then maybe I'd be ok with high taxes. I'm sorry, but as long as even 1 cent of our tax $ is spent on things other than helping Americans I'll feel this way.

But remember Netflix just raised my rate per month while they pay no taxes. Meanwhile many average Americans are double tax on Social Security. Tax when they work and tax when they begin collecting base on income plus some state tax. So no tears for billionaires. 50 percent.

I agree that it's wrong that Netflix pays no taxes, but it's not really the same thing. We CHOOSE to give $ to them, while the government takes whatever they want to spend on whatever they want. Taxation of income is theft. It's allowed under the Constitution, but it's wrong.

I love that saying. But let’s face it without taxes no military no roads no schools ect. But our government is out of control. No one in government even mention the deficit anymore.

That's actually not true. We had a military, roads, and schools long before the 16th Amendment was passed. We just didn't send our troops all over the world to be the world's police and protect corporate profits. But, yes, our government IS way out of control.

Let me put it this way. If I were a businessman that was making $12-14 million a year. With the %70 tax, I'd have no incentive to run my business past a certain amount since the tax would actually be cutting into my profit.1/2

Therefore I'd logically stop production for a month or two, thus people losing jobs, supply not being met inducing inflated prices, and doing anything possible to not make too much where it wouldn't be worth it.2/2

For me its not so much protection of Billionaires as much as having a system where anyone can be billionaires if they are smart, have an innovative idea, and strive to make it reality. The American dream, part of is that whoever you are, you can do and be anything... be rich.
