If it was GOP Gov, we'd have all media reporters with mike after Kamala, Corey etc asking 'DO YOU DISAVOW" and the panel discussions would be about 'how this incident is not isolated and all GOP is raycisssss!"

Blame the right, IMO. The media/left is just doing their job for their party. Any lack of results, outrage, follow-up on anything like this from here forward is now the the opposition's fault.

If this were a Republican there would be countless op-eds and an endless investigative effort to determine which was it: blackface or hood.

Even Fox seems to be harder on republicans than democrats. It's a very odd practice but it just feels like there are different standards that go even deeper than who is covering. There must be a godlike status with the NYT, and whatever way they go, the lesser reporters follow.

I've always believed it is deeper than politics. It is the industry of journalism itself. It's like the entertainment industry and one company is held in higher esteem than other companies. In journalism, the Nixon years made everyone want to be Watergate reporters.
