  I’d recommend arming yourself and doing at least a quick sweep around your property before going to bed. That’s pretty unnerving. Maybe it was the neighbor guy arguing with his wife? Still , not cool if so

  It's always interesting how quick rational people will immediately suspect the supernatural when something slightly weird happens. The sound came from a live person or a speaker, it's just hard to know the source, end of story.
