If a billionaire were taxed at 70%, then they'd be left worth less than $500 millionaires, which would be unfair. There would need to be some sort of sliding scale for the billionaire wealth tax to make it fair.https://twitter.com/Cernovich/status/1090435187266052096 …

Would you support a 70% one-time wealth tax on all liquid assets over $1 billion, if - In exchange, no one earning less than $60,000 a year would pay income taxes for a one year period?

I will not stand in the way of a wealth tax, until they stand up for our rights. Reciprocity. Quit being dupes for these people.

You completely miss the point. You’re going to have to prove you’re not a billionaire by registering all of your assets down to your watch to not pay the wealth tax. God help us

Next time shit needs to be bailed out let's have a sliding scale starting at the bottom... with the debt transferred to Wall Street & the Billionaires, to keep things fair. They broke the free market system in 2008. Everyone is just too blind to see it.

Here's the thing: billionaires with their army of lawyers and accountants, would always find a way to avoid paying 70%. It's the middle class who would suffer the brunt, because no socialist would ever be content with taxing only the top 1%. Plus they need their 32 trillion.

Wrong. In no way would it be "fair". All progressive and marginal taxes are absurd and petty. If we're going to be taxed at all, then the percentage should be the same for everyone.

Govt is already collecting record amount of taxes. The more they get the more they spend. Need a stop to runaway spending before MORE is asked of citizens.

No Mike, Billionaires employ more people than someone earning 60K, due to all their consumption. 2nd, everyone needs to have 'skin in the game". Enough with the class warfare crap. The debt is so massive that even if you confiscated 100% of their wealth it wouldn't cut 1 trill

The Fed says you're wrong. Such a massive amount of money has been printed and pooled into the hands of so free that they can no longer possibly consume enough to push the money through the system. Google "velocity of money." This is unsustainable.pic.twitter.com/MsJOek4VaO

I highly doubt such a law would be enforced fairly. We've had laws evaded before/now. POTUS gained revenue by changing the laws as he did/Tax-cut. That said, there comes a point where its not money anymore, its points in a game, and then Power. They dont think the same way we do.
