Let's talk about something fun I did yesterday, and before we do - If you think I'm "walking it back," nope, you are unhinged dead beats who got triggered, please stay away. Now.... How does it feel having your religion insulted? Why then does MAGA insult many good Muslims?https://twitter.com/Cernovich/status/1089628396957491200 …

Anyhow, I’ll chose my friends over unstable people who get trigged over one tweet. Bye!pic.twitter.com/jnF3F0O1a5

False equivalence since Christianity teaches its adherents to love, to turn the other cheek, to expect to be persecuted for Christ’s sake, etc., whereas Islam teaches its adherents to make war and enslave non-believers.
-
The whole ‘Christianity preaches love‘ reminds me of when Muslims say “Islam is peace”. Give me a break. If someone is genociding you are you supposed to practice peace and turn the other cheek?

Last burning at the stake was what, hundreds of years ago, yet the last islamic terror attack was yesterday in the Phillipines, if not somewhere else this morning.

Except there is little evidence that the bad aspects of Islam are a 'phase'. Insulating it from scrutiny isn't helping either. The children of Muslim immigrants to Europe are MORE radical than their parents, not less.

Agree with ur criticism of Christianity, we need to stop blindly defending "the institution". As for the inquisition: it was a period & they stopped. As
@Imamofpeace will tell u, Islamic terrorism has been going on since the 1st caliph. This is important. Whey will they stop? Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

We're talking about the extreme ends of any religion, really. What % of Islam does that represent? Is Islam a religion of conquest? Does Islam have the goal of assimilating with Western culture, which were built on Judeo-Christian values? These are the qustions I would have.

You don't want 'Christians' painting with a broad brush yet...you do it. How does that work?

Maybe we can take all the best parts of all major religions, trim out the evil, and do a mash up that the whole class can agree on.
-
Dont see that happening...but would love to see that as a science fiction religion... ok I kinda wanna see this...take 3 to 5 religions and send me a list of what to mash together and take away
-
It really is a better pitch for a sci fi series than a global peace plan lol. I'll write it in to my great American novel.
-
I'll be the first to read it

I understand where you’re going with everything however... there’s people being slaughtered daily over minor disagreements within Islam... (Sunnis vs Shiites) their religion is also tied to their government in many of the Islamic countries. I certainly don’t want that here

This is a dishonest comparison. The difference between the two is the evolution that has taken place (or not taken place). Christians burning people at the stake no longer exist and would not have a place in modern society.

it just so happened islam has gone through the "sick phase" for 1400 years, with no signs of progressing any further.. actually it goes against islam itself to change any part of it... you cant compare acts of a religion today, to acts of a religion hundreds of years ago
