To put it in context, the UK has very strict libel laws that can land you in jail. Outlets are very likely to cave under pressure. If they even get only one thing wrong, settlement terms can require them to apologize for even things that might be true else not be accepted.

This is why I want to see news publications out of business and journalists out of a job. They know they're lying. They do it anyway. They don't care. They deserve everything they're getting. If they don't like being labeled enemy of the people, they should report facts.
